Birthday Hair
This is what I did for my birthday yesterday, as my birthday hair. I turned the big 30 and look younger than ever. It took me about 2 hours to complete as I have not done flat twists since 2011.

My Healthy Hair Challenge/Journe
How ya doing Ladies and Gents
I have a journey that I am embarking on. Its just making sure my hair is healthy from root to tip and is full of body and thickness.
I'm going to tell you step by step of the process I have started to start with healthy hair. They are in no particular order.
- Cut off all damaged hair (split ends, ssk, frayed ends and thinning hair).
- I blow dried and flat ironed my hair to give it a good cut since my ends were like sand paper.
- Give yourself a good protein treatment followed by a moisturizing deep conditioner after the flat iron* (optional)
- Wash hair with twists or loose braids to prevent future tangles.
- Wash your hair with clarifying soap ( I used black soap).
Semi Mini Twists
Hello Ladies and Gents just coming to you with a quick post on my new hair challenge I'm trying out.
I'm doing a 2 Strand Twist challenge, with the Inversion Method, Green House Effect, and massaging my scalp.
It has been a week since I twisted my hair and I plan on over the weekend to water wash my hair and redue my twists half of the size they are till my birthday on June 12th, which is almost three weeks away.

Flat Ironed Bantu Knot Out
BANTU KNOT OUT "FLAT IRONED HAIR" |
Hello Ladies and Gents, I have some picture of my Bantu Knot Out on Flat Ironed Hair.
I was very quite simple with the routine. I did not use a lot of products, as I wanted my hair to flow and also I just wanted a little hold and shine without the heaviness of Gel.

Flat Two Strand Twist Out
Hey ladies and gentlemen, I have been gone for a while. But now I am back and did some flat twists on damp hair.
Here are some before and after pictures of the hair style.
The first picture is a back view of my hair. I had cold perm rods on some of the ends that have heat damage.
Here are some before and after pictures of the hair style.

My Mini Braids finally installed
Yes they are Finally done!!
I'm so sorry for anyone who read or has been waiting to see my pictures or video on my mini braids installed with my natural hair. I've finally finished them over a two day period with 5 or 6 hours each day.
I had to many things going on this summer so I was not able to do them the next day 2 weeks ago as planned. I didn't even get a chance to deep condition my hair. I know that's wrong right? I wanted to add that to my hair for extra softness, but I've been applying glycerin to my hair at night with some water and braid my hair up into about 6 or 8 big braids and do that bagging method. I have to say my hair has been very soft..
The downside is that the glycerin kind of feel sticky but not at the same time. Its really hard to explain, but i had one day where my hair felt so soft, I added water to it and i could feel the glycerin on it. So I just added the water to my hair and rubbed it and and braided it up and the next day my hair was super soft and did not dry out the whole day.

Mini Braids Installments
Hello Ladies & Gents, tomorrow will be my first installment of mini braids on my own head. I have done this before but it was when I was about 10 or so and did my younger sisters hair. Let me tell you those braids were about the size you most Youtubers have, but with hair past the middle of her back.
I did a real good job and my sister loved it. I was just surprised she let me do it because it took so long. I got my butt in so much trouble when my mom got home and I did it while she was at work, so she didn't see it until my sister woke up the next morning.
She told me to never ever do it again because she would have to be the one to take them down. When it was time for my mom to take them down, I was getting yelled at the whole time and being told to never do this again to her hair and never that small ever again. I do have to say that the hair was looking real cute and she got a lot of compliments too.
That was the last time I've done them. So it has been over or almost 20 years since. I will be doing them to my own head. I know it will take a long time for me to do them with watching my nieces and nephew most of the day and then on Wednesday I will have to give a friend some braids , singles, or box braids, not really sure yet.
Tonight I will be washing my hair in the shower and I will go to the store in the morning and get me an avocado and make me some deep conditioner. I want my hair to be moisturized and protien balanced also when I do the braids.
I will give my hair a dusting or trim when I do the braids because I have a lot of SSK, some split ends and uneven hair. I'm really focused on keeping my hair healthy over lenght because although my hair is pretty long, when you feel the hair toward the ends you will understand why. I rather have long healthy hair than long damaged hair.
At the end of the month will be my 3 yrs being natural again since childhood. Although my hair is not where I would like it to be because seeing fellow Youtubers and how long their hair is had me believing that I was suppose to have hair growth like them, but that was not the case.
By the way, the shampoo that I am using tonight is homemade and this will be my first time trying it out I will let you know the results if I like it and the pros and cons about it. I just came to my head that I had certain things that I could make into some conditioning soap and it was just a spare of the moment thing. There will be a post along with pictures as well.
Below are a couple of pictures before I wash my hair, just took it out of a ponytail.

Moisturizing Deep Conditioner
I have to say, the conditioner that I made was well worth it. It made my hair so soft it was crazy. This is a moisturizing deep conditioner because a couple of days before that I deep a Protein deep conditioner, and I have to day it made my hair so dry and hard feeling and like straw. There was nothing I could do about it for those two days because I did't have everything I needed for the conditioner.
So I took it apon myself to just work it out till then, I was missing my avocado and that was the key ingredient.
Below you will see everything I used to achieve this. Sorry there is no picture of my hair, I went to sleep and left it on over night and washed it out and hit the streets.
